A critical error message pops up when I click on Frontend in the plugin tab. There are also no Recommended options and they are all look disabled. I know some of these Frontend options were recommended before and I did enable a couple of them. Environment and Media pages look normal. I’m not sure when the issue started because I haven’t looked at the settings in a while. Maybe with the newest plugin update. On my Dashboard, it says 3/6 next to Frontend optimizations so I think I have 3 enabled but I can’t see what they are. I tried enabling CSS minification to see what happens and an error message pops up saying “Could not enable CSS Minification”. Please help me fix this.

Also on the Dashboard, I have a notification saying that I need to update my WordPress, but it is already on the newest version. I clicked on “Update” to make it go away but it is still there. Is there a way to delete the notification since I am already on the newest version of WordPress and there is no update available?

Update:I read the support ticket with Paypal causing issues with the Frontend page and that was the cause. I downgraded to version 1.7.0 in the Paypal plugin and it fixed the issue for now. I would still like to know how to delete the notification though.

    Hey @kaylag423,

I was unable to replicate the issue, the pages are working on my end, including the features that produced the errors displayed on your screenshots.

The recommended updates are not related to the case, you can review them in the Update section.

I would recommend you clean your browser’s cache and test using a different browser. If the issue still persists, please open a new ticket from your SiteGround User Area so we can investigate the case further.

    Best Regards,
    Dimitar Petrov
