Hi there clicking the defender dashboard not allow me to see the dashboard just showing the error code only

Hi @rafilathif

I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue.

Could you log in to your FTP and see does in /wp-includes/ folder an empty .htaccess file exist? If so please delete that file and see if that helps.

Also in this specific case, please check your storage space on the server is there a free space.

I have removed that file but still, I can see the error I try in the different browser also same even I try in Private browser too same error

Hello @rafilathif,

Just to double-check, did you also check if there is enough disk space on your server? Also, check if there is an htaccess file in the wp-content folder and prefer removing it too. Let me know if that gets through.

Yes that I believe more than enough the disk space you can see this here
As you said that two folders which are wp-content and wp-includes I show .htaccess File and I removed

Hi @rafilathif,

Thanks for the additional info, however, we’re still unable to replicate this issue on our end.

To make sure that the plugin was installed correctly could you please try removing it and then installing it again, this should ensure that all the files are in place in case that some kind of a hiccup happened during initial installation.

If that doesn’t help can you please perform a conflict test by disabling other plugins and switching to default WP theme to see if Defender is loading fine after that?
If it does, enable them back one by one until the issue is back and that should tell us where the conflict is coming from so we can debug it further from there.

I suggest doing this test on a staging site or if you don’t have one make sure to have a backup of your site ready before proceeding with the test.

I was tested with my theme and plugins which is comes with theme developers.
here you can see the plugin list

And I try to remove .htaccess file and added default .htaccess like bellow

The other test I did remove all the plugin and activate only defender plugin still same

Hello @rafilathif,

There is just one I suppose that needs checks and that is the theme. Did you perform all the test using the default theme or the Urna theme? If you did not perform it using the default theme, do try to check this by activating the default WordPress themes like 2017,2019,2020 and check if that works. If that does, please try to activate the Urna Parent theme if that works.

If that works on the parent theme, then the child theme function file has something messing up. If it does work with the WordPress default themes and not the parent Urna theme, then you would need to check with the theme authors as that is what would be causing an issue. Do let me know if that works for you.
