critical error on chrome only

  • I updated php yesterday, after which my site admin wouldn’t load. I got a critical error, checked the email from WordPress that advised me of a conflict with Jetpack. My site host tech went in and disabled Jetpack, and the site now opens on edge, but I am getting the same critical error on chrome. I uninstalled and reinstalled chrome, but nothing changed. How can I go back to using wordpress on chrome?

    clear your cache on chrome. The browser should not throw PHP errors.

    Thanks, Steve. I’ve done that a few times now. I thought remotely disabling Jetpack would fix it for all browsers, but nope. I’ll go back to ipage support again I guess.
