Hi. My site recently crashed with a critical error message upon loading. When I contacted my host server, they said that the issue was with the Ultimate Member plugin. So they had to deactivate the plugin in order to restore my site. I have been using UM plugin without this problem already for a while so I’m not sure why this is happening now. I’m afraid to reactivate it due to fear of my site crashing again. Can you advise me on this? Thank you.

    Hi @clancel

Could you please ask your hosting provider to assist you with retrieving any PHP error logs related to the Ultimate Member plugin? Please share them here so we can review it.

I checked for the issue in the clone site and saw an error message when deactivating and activating the plugin which read that the folder was incorrectly named. So I checked the for the UM plugin folder in file manager and noticed that it was named Ultimate-Member1. So I renamed it Ultimate Member and it’s working again. I don’t understand how the folder was renamed that way because I never touched the folder.
