I just started using This Day in History plugin earlier this month. When I click to view the individual Events (the numeral) under the Event Types section of the settings panel, the first page is blank except for a message on the left: “There has been a critical error on this website.”

    I’ve uploaded a screen capture here: https://thepulp.net/this-day-in-history-critical-error.jpg

I can click to page 2, and the listing of events shows up.

I’ve deleted and reimported the csv file several times, but still keep getting this.

    Any ideas? Thanks!

I can’t replicate this error so I suspect that it is due to your data import and not an issue with the plugin, esp. since this part is a core WP process.

That’s what I was thinking, too. Are there any characters or symbols in a .csv file that might foul up things after import?

For instance, most entries are like this second line here:

    post_title,post_content,post_type,tax_event_type
    1879-01-01,”• Fictioneer Joseph Taylor Hazard was born Jan. 1, 1879. #otd #pulpmags”,tdih_event,births

But some have URLs and some HTML in them. I’ve double-quoted the quotes (“”xx””). But in order to have multiple events on a specific date (without separate lines which overwrite the previous one), I’ve done this:

    1881-01-08,”• Fictioneer Bertrand Sinclair was born Jan. 8, 1881. #otd #pulpmags

• Fictioneer John G. Neihardt was born Jan. 8, 1881. #otd #pulpmags”,tdih_event,births
