    hello,
After updating Google analytics, a critical error message appears when viewing certain pages.

In the server logs, this is the message that appears:

    PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function is_type() on null in /example.xyz/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-google-analytics-integration/includes/class-wc-google-gtag-js.php :47\nStack trace:\n#0 /example.xyz/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(308): WC_Google_Gtag_JS->setup_frontend_scripts()\n#1 /example.xyz/wp-includes/class -wp-hook.ph

Can you make a fix to get everything working again.

    I thank you in advance

    Lionel

  • Hi @oneill78

Can you send us a copy of your site’s system status report? You can find that at:?WP Dashboard > WooCommerce > Status > 'Get system report'

    Hello,
    Thank you for your reply.
When I look at the “status” page, it tells me that the cart page has no shortcode (which seems to match with the PHP error).
Indeed this page is created with Divi and the short code [woocommerce_cart] is not used.
When I compare the file “wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-google-analytics-integration/includes/class-wc-google-gtag-js.php” between versions 1.5.19 and 1.6.0, I see that a function was added in the file constructor of the latest version.
This is probably the cause of the error which did not exist before the plugin update.
Please let me know if this gives you an indication to fix the bug.
    Have a good day

    Hi Lionel,

Thanks for the additional details. It is difficult to troubleshoot having only that information.

It would be great if you please share your System Status Report, found under WooCommerce > Status on your site. (It does not contain sensitive information).

You can share the report via https://pastebin.com/ that way you can keep the pastebin link alive for some days while we check into the issue.

    Thanks.

I am also experiencing this issue after updating to version 1.6.0 of the plugin.

    Hi @underdog89,

I understand that you are experiencing the same issue.

Since you’re not the person who originally started this topic and since every site setup is different, per?the forum guidelines, would you?please start your own topic?

When doing so, please can you share the following:

    • System Status Report: navigate to?WooCommerce?→?Status. Select?Get system report?and then?Copy for support.
    • Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under?WooCommerce?→?Status?→?Logs.

We’ll be more than happy to help there!

    Hi @oneill78 ,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.

    Cheers!
