    Hello!

After upgrading to WP 6.4.2, I get a critical error on my website:

    Error details
    ======================
An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 96 of the file /usr/local/www/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/twentig/inc/block-patterns.php. Error message?: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded.

    Version of WordPress: 6.4.2
Theme activated: Twenty Twenty-Three Child (version 1.0.0)
    Plugin: Twentig (version 1.7.1)
    Version of PHP: 8.1.26

Any ideas how to solve this? Thx!

    Hi Adeline,

Thank you for your feedback. I’ve tried to replicate the issue using WordPress version 6.4.2 with the Twentig plugin version 1.7.1 and a child theme of Twenty Twenty-Three, but everything seems to be functioning correctly on my end.

To help us investigate this further, could you please provide the following information:

    1. Which page(s) are you experiencing this error on: front-end, site editor, page editor… ?
    2. Does the error still occur if you switch to the parent theme, Twenty Twenty-Three, instead of using your child theme?

    Thank you,
    Yann

    Hi Yann,

    Thank you for your answer!

    1. The error was in both back-end and front-end. I needed to go through recovery mode to deactivate the plugin.
    2. I tried to switch to the parent theme but the error still occur.

I tried something else and cleared the server cache: looks like it works now!

I’m glad to hear that clearing the server cache solved the issue for you. We’ll still look if there is something to improve on our side.

    Have a nice day,
    Yann
