Critical Error After Plugin Update

    Hi there,

    I had this critical error message when i tried to activate the popup maker plugin, right after i updated my plugin to the latest version, and after i updated my PHP to version 8.2. Which i will show with my screenshot below :

    In my screenshot, it says that popup maker can’t be activated because of some critical error when that plugin is active. So, any idea on how to solve this problem of mine?

    Hi @kannabanna,

    Sorry to hear you encountered an error after updating.

    We’ve received a few reports related to PHP version 8.2. Is it possible to update further to version 8.3?

    We might also need to take a closer look at your setup. Could you submit a ticket via Support Request – Popup Maker?

    hm….. i don’t really know what to say. But after i downgraded my php version to 7.4 > activated popup maker > upgrade my PHP version, everything went well. I just can’t activate the plugin on PHP 8.2, but everything else seems fine. If i may know, will my solution cause any problem? And as for the setup, can you explain more which setup i must send?

    @kannabanna – Would it be possible to check your PHP error logs or ask your host for assistance? Would be useful to see exactly what error message & which file:line it came from.
