Critical error after enabling Security firewall plug, refresh= no critical error

    after installing and enabling the security firewall plug on my site, i am getting A CRITICAL ERROR HAS OCCURED ON YOUR SITE usually from the first load in a browser on mobile and desktop, if you refresh it will load.

    If I disable the plugin, I have not received those intermittent errors.

    If I turn it back on the errors return, refresh and it loads.
    What is causing this. I have country rules in place and default settings otherwise.
