I just updated the plugin to the latest version 4.3.4.1, and then site broke. WP sent a critical technical issue email with a recovery mode link so that I could deactivate the plugin. The error details show as appended.

    Hi @quirkylissy,

Sadly, it presents a new problem. I tried to upload an image, but was showing an error as appended.I’m sure it’s from your plugin, once I deactivated it, uploading of images has no problem.

    Error:
Post-processing of the image likely failed because the server is busy or does not have enough resources. Uploading a smaller image may help. Suggested maximum size is 2500 pixels.

    – I am well familiar with this issue and trust me this is not from our plugin. First of all, WordPress recommends uploading images no more than 2500px as you will never need a bigger image for any webpage whatsoever. Also, this way you will consume less space on your server and your file size will be smaller.

Now coming to server busy. I am not aware of your plugin settings but if you have fallback cache enabled over cURL, that’s gonna take some server resource to generate the fallback caches. Similarly, if you have preloader set to fetch data from sitemap URLs, that will consume a little resource as well.

Please note that all these resource consumption will happen within 2-5 min of Purging the WHole Cache from the plugin as you purge the cache a lot of things happen on the background like regeneration of the fallback cache, preloading them etc. So, during this time if you want the server to process some more things like an image and if you are not on a good hosting with enough resource, you might face the issue.

In short, the best thing to do is once you purge the whole cache wait for 5 min and then do you other works as by them our plugin’s work will be fully done. Hope this helps. ??

I disabled WP Super Cache, and it’s working fine now.

You should not be using any other caching plugin with this plugin. Check the FAQ section inside the plugin settings.
