    Hello,

I tried to copy files from one Folder to another Folder using drag and drop in the “Media Library Folders” -> “Folders & Files” Section . After the copying i see a success message that all files have been copied but after selecting the copy target folder in the folder tree I do not see any Image in this folder. Instead a message is written “

This translates to something like “There was a critical error on your site” And the link-text means “Learn more about problem solving in WordPress”. This is a German wordpress installation. I turned on WordPress logging and in the log file i can see this stack trace.

[05-Sep-2023 07:51:20 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: strip_tags(): Argument #1 ($string) must be of type string, array given in /home/e...p/www/home/wp-includes/media.php:1053

I already tried the plugin “Media Library Folders Reset” but this has no effect and the error message is still present.

My installed Version of Media Library Folders is 8.1.1
    and PHP version is 8.0

    Thanks for your support

if you need anymore info i will try to provide it.

Michael, first, are you moving a file to a different folder or are you making a second copy of a file by copy it? I ask this since it is possible to do both in Media Library Folders. Does this happen every time you try to repeat the operation?

Can you go to the Media Library Folders Support page on your site, to the System Info tab. There, highlight, copy and paste the information about your site into an email and send it to ‘support at maxfoundry.com’ and mention, ‘Critical Error after copying a file’ in the subject line.

    Hello Alan

I’m making a second copy. Moving a file via drag and drop doesn’t produce this error. But if i switch to copy mode (I see the info message “Drag and drop is set for copying files”) and then copy a file via drag and drop ( Message “Finished copying files” is show) the above error/message appears in the target folder.

I just sent you an email with the requested data.

I’m able to reproduce the issue. I’ll see what is causing it and get back to you.

Version 8.1.2 of Media Library Folders has been released which addresses this issue. You will need to delete the previously copied images and recopy them. The images can be delete through the standard WP Media Library.
