    Hi

    The moment I upgraded to your latest version I received a critical error on my site. ??

    I had to deactivate all the plugins and re-activate all put yours. So now I have lost my download capability throughout my site.

    Please help.

    I have reverted to 3.8.7 until this is resolved. You might want to pull it off the system incase it gives critical errors for other users.

    What specific error do you receive? Deactivate and re-activate it just to see the exact error so you can report that. I am using the latest version myself but I don’t see any error.

    I am afraid I am reluctant to try again. The moment you upgrade it the site shuts down with a “we have encountered a critical error” and it is unseable. it happened one before with another plugin.

    As i also said, it shuts down the site, I have to manually fix the whole thing so it is not straightforward to deactivate / activate.

    it gives no messages apart from what i said.

    maybe i can try on the staging site for you but it will give no more info.

    okay thats fine. For now don’t try it. I will see if I can get one more user to report the error.

    I think this issue might be related to Yoast SEO. I have deactivated that plugin and now managed to upgrade your plugin with no critical errors.

    I have been looking out for more customise button features as per my suggestions (which would not affect other users).

    I will confirm about Yoast if I get more info.

    I use the Yoast SEO plugin also. I don’t’ see any error. Maybe there is a customization that you have (or a custom feature somewhere) that is conflicting.

    I really don’t know. It seems OK now so I am not going to worry. My outstanding issue with Yoast is with editing pages / posts on the staging site.
