Critical Error
-
Looking for some help, can’t find a way to contact WordPress directly.
I have recently been brought on to manage the website for a dressage club. Because of this, I only have access to a basic admin account, because no one knows the details for the original wordpress account any more!
Original error was that the php was very outdated, which caused a meltdown. WordPress said I needed to get the php updated through our domain host, which I managed to do.
This got me to the point where the homepage is live. But half of it isn’t loaded and none of the links work. As soon as I log in (through wp-login.php? not through wordpress itself), it tells me there’s a critical error and it won’t let me in to the dashboard. It keeps saying go to the email for more instructions, but I don’t know what email that is or if it even still exists and I can’t log in to change any email preferences.
What options do I have here? I had to create a new wordpress account so that I could post here in support as I couldn’t figure out how to contact wordpress directly for help.
