    What to do

Please follow the troubleshooting steps below for the page.

    1. 1Visit the page.
    2. 2Verify its styles load correctly, and?try again.

I removed the theme and reloaded it with no success. The pages and menu look proper until they are published. Not sure how to verify style is loaded correctly.

    Hi @gospe016,

I took a closer look at your site and noticed something interesting. It turns out, Boost is having trouble locating certain CSS files it needs. Digging deeper, I spotted some stylesheets in your page source that not only have unique URLs but also, surprisingly, aren’t accessible. This means that when Boost tries to work its magic, it can’t grab the CSS it needs to optimize your site’s loading speed.

Here’s what I’d suggest trying next: Consider temporarily deactivating other plugins except for Jetpack Boost. Sometimes, other plugins can interfere with how resources are managed and served. Alternatively, switching to a default WordPress theme for a bit could also help pinpoint the issue. These steps might just make those elusive stylesheets accessible to Boost, allowing it to generate the Critical CSS properly.

Hope this helps clear things up! If you’re still stuck or have any questions, feel free to reach out.

    Take care!

Thanks so much for looking into this problem. I followed your instructions and still can’t fix the problem. I removed the plug ins and tried a different theme to no avail. I believe the theme I am currently using is a default theme. I tried every trick I could think of to get this fixed. Is there something else you could recommend? My website is not displaying properly and it is especially problematic on cell phones. I don’t know what hoops to jump through to get my CSS to load.

    Hello @gospe016,

Thank you for the detailed follow-up and for your efforts in troubleshooting the Critical CSS generation issue. I appreciate the steps you’ve taken to resolve the problem, and I’m sorry that none of them have worked so far.

From your latest update and our system checks, it appears that the root cause of the problem is related to resource limits on your server. Specifically, the “508 Resource Limit Is Reached” error messages indicate that your site’s server is hitting its allocated resource limits, which can prevent the Critical CSS from being generated successfully. This also seems to be affecting your Jetpack connection, causing internal server errors.

Next, I’d recommend contacting the hosting provider. The repeated “508 Loop Detected” responses suggest that server resources are being maxed out. I recommend contacting your hosting provider to discuss these limits and see if they can either increase them or identify why your site is consuming so much resource. They might also have insights into specific configurations that are causing these issues. It appears the hosting is QuadraNet and they can be contacted at https://quadranet.com/contact

    Hope this helps!
