Critical az_sem_cache

    Hi I am using Wordfence on a lot of sites but never saw something like this:

    Unknown file in WordPress core: wp-admin/az_sem_cache,
    Type: File, High importance

    Is this harmful or false positive?

  • Hi @josmatic,

    Wordfence is warning you that this file is not part of the default WordPress installation core.

    This file is created by a third-party plugin called AZIndex, by the file plugins/azindex/az-index-cache.php:996. If you trust this plugin, you can ignore this warning if you wish.
