    Hi,

I own a website which looks at telecom companies and ranks their offers. I also test the services and provide reviews.

Using Yoast SEO, i see that the default schema markup is “article”. But for a review, one should rather expect that “critical review” or at least “rating” should be there.

What would you recommend to choose from the options available in the plugin so that Google could show proper snippet?

At the moment, our plugins do not include review schema.

Ideally, this structured data markup is handled by your eCommerce solution. For a lot of WordPress users, this would be WooCommerce.

To add the review data, each page/post/product needs to have at least one review.

Please bear in mind that you or your developer are welcome to build on our schema API. We have some guidance on how to do that here.
