    Updated 2.3.6 to 2.3.7 yesterday. My site usually gets 1-5 orders per day, but since the update, we’d only logged 2 failed orders. One customer had called in to report the system not accepting credit cards. This may be related to some other tickets I see in the support forum. We’re running WooCommerce 3.9.1.

    I rolled the live site back to 2.3.6 using the WP Rollback plugin. We had a successful customer order about 1.5 hours after that, but my test order failed with the message “The provided card was declined, please use an alternate card or other form of payment.” I tried going back to 2.3.7 then, and my test still failed, but this time said “We cannot process your order with the payment information that you provided. Please use a different payment account or an alternate payment method.” We also got 1 successful customer order while on 2.3.7 this time. But we also had 1 more customer call during debugging because his credit card wouldn’t process.

    There were no signs of trouble before yesterday morning at 10:08am, when our last successful customer order occurred and we had not yet updated to 2.3.7.

    Update: I reverted to 2.3.6 again and cleared caches brutally. Got a test transaction to go through. I’ll be keeping the live site on that version for now.

    I’d like to get a better idea of why orders are failing when processing through the latest version and this may require enabling debug logging and troubleshooting on a staging site.
