    Hi ggdesigns,

I don’t think that Credit Card details are stored on YOUR website (this is pretty big security risk as well – imagine if your website was compromised because of a dodgy plugin / theme OR if you customer had their email account compromised), which means that emails sent from your website doesn’t have access to the CC numbers at all.

If including credit card numbers on the invoice is an absolute must, your best bet would be to get in touch with ePay directly to find out how that can be done as it wouldn’t be a WC option.

Thank you for your response but no, as I said, we need to capture credit card TYPE…Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express. Not number.

If your gateway plugin does not handle this for you, it would need to be done custom. I don’t think you’d need to capture this information from the user though because it can normally be detected from the card number. Maybe see if USA ePay can return the type.

Either way, detection or new field, will require changes to the payment gateway code itself.

Thank you! Yes I found out I can grab that info via custom code. Now to figure that out ??

    Hi,

How were you able to grab the additional info such as the credit card type..?
