Credit Card Settings are not Translated

    I use this plugin in Japanese.
    Credit Card Settings are not Translated into Japanese.
    Ex. “Enable this gateway”, “This setting does not change which card types the gateway will accept. Accepted cards are configured from your payment processor account.” and so on.

    I tried to translate, but there are nothing texts I would like to translate in the site “WooCommerce Square” in “Translating WordPress”.
    When I go to the payment page and select Credit Card, there are some English strings like “Card Number”, “Expiration” and so on.

    I would like to use this plugin in Japanese.
    How can I translate them?

    Busy building my own site in Japanese language and using the square plugin. Have exactly the same problem that on checkout page below strings are still English

    Card Number
    Expiration (MM/YY)
    Card Security Code
    Securely save to account

    Strange thing that in that window the string postal code is translated though I cannot find the strings anywhere….

    Where do I find above strings to translate? What was your solution?

    Hi @rijken1973 ,

    My solution was to use Poedit.
    Please read pages 1 – 2 of this thread.
    I don’t remember about the postal code.

    Hello,

    My problems are that i don’t find these strings when appear where customers validate the order widthout informations.
    I can’t translate it width WPML.

    How can i translate these strings :
    Credit card number is not valid
    Expiration date is not valid
    CSC is not valid

    Can you help me ?

    The problem seems to be on the Square Payments Processing and not the plugin side. These strings are not in the plugin nor Woocommerce. You should contact Square.

    The reply from @gjfo is correct, as there does not appear to be a translation option with WPML nor Loco translate to translate the field Credit card number is not valid – this is a standard error generated from within the Square plugin, and Square is best to be reached out for translation options.

    If they push back, you can try to see if WPML has anything regarding this since that is installed on your site.

    Since this is not something we can resolve here, I will go ahead and close this thread. Good luck and have a super day!
