Credit Card Payment issues with Give WP

    So I’m using this donation plugin, it was working fine when I tested it, but recently when I came to this site and tried making a donation with my credit card, it just gave me a blank screen…..
    I entered all the information, clicked donate now and the plugin vanished…

    the same thing is happening when I am trying to connect with a new stripe account or delete a donation…
    when I enter the details and proceed, it just takes me to a blank screen and nothing happens, when I hit back and come to the previous page, no changes are made.
    I contacted my host… they test the site and confirmed the issue is with the plugin.. I even did a health troubleshoot check by disabling all the plugins and themes and then trying to pay.. the same issue keeps happening.

    Note I did everything writes.. connecting to the correct account… I even tested it once it was working fine… but now this keeps happening.

    Please provide help…
    Note the Paypal is working fine.. the issue is with stripe only… and yes.. I did all the troubleshooting things like clearing the cache it does not work…

    thanks for the plugin, using the free version and all tested well until today.
    Same problem as @zikrainfotech, done all troubleshooting (dispabel, plugins, cache, etc), I also connected Stripe on a different website just 2 days ago and all worked fine.

    When I try to connect the Stripe account through the button in the settings, I get to the Stripe message “Returning to GiveWP, You’ll be redirected in just a moment.” and then blank screen.
    When I go back in the setting there’s no connection with Stripe, no matter how many times I try. I wish I could just add the API keys manually, since I’ve got Spripe working with Woocommerce flawlessly (and yes, I’ve tried to disable WC as well but nothing).

    Any help would be appreciated,

    Hi @zikrainfotech and @moozolab,

    Your reports are consistent with some other reports that are related to running GiveWP on PHP 8.

    Our team is aware of this: https://feedback.givewp.com/bug-reports/p/unable-to-connect-to-stripe-using-php-8

    The workaround, for now, is to downgrade the version of PHP you are using to PHP 7.4 (still fully supported by the PHP community).

    Thanks for your reply @mrdaro and for the message @matheusfd.
    Would it be possible to be notified when the issue will be solved for PHP 8 compatibility? That would be much appreciated.
    For now I’ve downgraded to PHP 7.4 and the Stripe setup seems to work, is there any other known issue with Stripe gateway as far as you know? I’ll be soon launching my campaign and I wouldn’t want to run into unexpected problems.

    I’ve added a link to this ticket to our issue report as a internal comment so we can notify you when this is addressed.

    I highly recommend that you still test donations throughly on a staging site or in test mode before you launch your campaign to make sure that everything runs smoothly.
