I would prefer to process credit cards directly on my checkout page. Right now I get an error that reads: “Payment Failed ( Your card’s security code is incorrect. ).Refresh and try again”

When I enable “Stripe Checkout”, the user can complete checkout on the Stripe page successfully. With “Stripe Checkout” enabled the user can ALSO complete checkout on my checkout page (where they would receive the error if “Stripe Checkout” is disabled).

I tested it several times, turning “Stripe Checkout” on and off, and my checkout page does not work without it enabled.

How can I fix this so I don’t need to display “Stripe Checkout” to process credit cards?

    HI @wpssa,

    Greetings from Webtoffee!

The issue you are facing—“Payment Failed ( Your card’s security code is incorrect. ). Refresh and try again”—seems not related to enabling or disabling the Stripe checkout option in the plugin. The card validation is handled by Stripe itself, and this error message is received from Stripe.

Check your Stripe logs in the Stripe dashboard -> Developers -> Logs?for any failed logs of this order. Then, check for payment method logs (/v1/payment_methods) and share them with us.

If you are concerned about sharing it publicly, you can use this link to privately share it with us.

I checked the logs and saw it thought the card was a stripe test card, weird.

I tried another test order and it seemed to have fixed itself!

I just updated plugins today and now I am getting another error “Payment Failed ( Unknown Error ).Refresh and try again” yet in my Stripe developer log it shows “200 ok”

    Hi @wpssa,

If you have already updated to the latest version 4.0.3 share your Stripe account ID. You can easily get it from the plugin settings page where it is showed “connected” to Stripe. ?If you could share the?wt_stripe_oauth?log file from?WooCommerce -> Status -> Logs, we can investigate the issue. Additionally check your Stripe developer logs for any failed payment logs and share these details privately using this link?.
