I have set up woocommerce to only allow two payment types. Paypal payment or Direct Deposit.

On my checkout page, at the bottom of the page there appears two radio buttons for the two payment options, but after a few seconds it automatically changed to Credit/Debit Card Secure Payment fields asking for the Cardholder, Card Number, Expiry Date and Card Verification Number. I have not enabled this and I do not want to be receiving or storing this information. How can I stop these fields from appearing?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @simonlg ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you have enabled only two payment methods on your site (PayPal and Direct Deposit). However, you are encountering an issue where after a few seconds on the checkout page, the options for these two payment methods are automatically replaced with fields for Credit/Debit Card Secure Payment, is this correct?

I have gone to your site and am unable to replicate this, as no credit/debit card input fields are being displayed. Here is what I see (even after staying on the page for some time):

Can you try clearing your browser cache and see if this makes any difference. Alternatively, you can view this in private/incognito mode and see if the issue is no longer present.

Should you still be facing this issue, please can clarify the following:

    • Does this occur on all browsers, or only a specific browser.
    • Does this occur with all products, or specific products?

Also, a screenshot of what you are seeing on your end may be helpful. If you do not already have a screenshot tool installed,?Snipboard.io?can be used for easily sharing screenshots.

Please follow the instructions on that page, then paste the URL in this thread.

    Cheers!

Hi @beautyofcode, thanks for your reply. It turns out that my site had been hacked a while ago and though I had resolved that issue, there was some residual code that was causing the field to appear. I tracked it down and removed it which is why you were unable to replicate the issue.

    Hi @simonlg ,

Glad to hear that the issue is no longer present.

Since this has been resolved, feel free to?create a new topic?if you need further help.
