Credit Card Field incorrectly showing up in checkout

I understand that you are using WooCommerce for your wholesale customers to place orders without collecting payments through the platform. You have disabled the credit card processing feature in the checkout process and set up the Check Payments labeled as Invoice option for payments. However, some customers are experiencing an issue where they are presented with a credit card form instead of the intended Invoice option, correct?

To better picture what you are referring to here, can you please share with us the clear screenshots you received from your customers so that we could address you more effectively?

Meanwhile, I checked your site, added a product to cart, and tried to proceed with the checkout process, however, I received the error message as you can see below:

For us to check this further, please double check that only the Check Payments option is enabled under WooCommerce > Settings > Payments.

If yes, please ask one of your customers to try to clear their browser’s cache or try another browser or in incognito mode and see if that works?

If these steps did not resolve the issue, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share your System Status Report that you can find via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

Thank you for your response. Your summary is correct. These are new customers accessing a new site for the first time so I don’t believe it is a cache or similar issue. The error you are seeing is correct as we do not allow non-registered users to check out. If you want to register and provide me with your registration info I will be happy to approve it on the backend so you are able to go through the full process.

This is quite strange that a payment form is displayed on your site’s checkout page when only the Check Payments option is enabled under WooCommerce > Settings > Payments.

It looks like a third-party plugin or your theme might be causing the conflict here.

For us to investigate this further, can you please try to switch to the default Storefront theme and only WooCommerce plugin is enabled and see if this works?

If so, then this kind of problem is usually caused by your theme or a third-party plugin present on your site. We can run a conflict test to verify this. I’d recommend cloning your site to a staging environment and performing the tests described on this guide without modifying your live site or impacting customers. Many hosts provide staging facilities, so it’s worth checking in with them. It’s also possible to do it using the free WP Staging plugin.

If this was caused by a third-party plugin present on your site, it would be best to reach out to the developers for further assistance here.
