    I’m experiencing an issue where, when a user tries to apply a coupon code on the checkout page (using the default WooCommerce template), an error appears: ‘Your card number is incomplete.’

    All credit card fields turn red, and the coupon is not applied.

    Why is Stripe triggering a call (card validation?) when a coupon code is activated? Is there any option ro disable this behavior?

    Hi there!

    I understand your concern. To assist you better, could you please confirm if the error still appears when the user places an order without adding a coupon code? Or does the order go through without any issues in that case?

    Also, are you using the default coupon code generator in WooCommerce, or are you using a custom plugin to generate the coupon codes?


    Also, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:

    • System Status Report?which you can find via WooCommerce > Status
    • Fatal error logs?(if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
