Credit card can’t be used for payment

    Hi

    We are trying to configure credit card payments via the Paypal Payment Plugin. The connection to our paypal business account works fine, when I connect it via button automatically and also when I type in the API Credentials manually.

    Somehow on the cart site when I am trying to finish an order and choose Paypal as a Payment option, I get to the paypal login page where I can authenticate my account successfully. Now the problem is, that after that when I want to finish the payment it says that my credit card can’t be used for payments. We get the same error on every paypal account that tries to create a payment. I’ve already had 2 tickets open with the Paypal Support and nobody could help me. Do you have an idea, what could be causing this error?

    Hi @nmakeski,

    Have you also tried this with a PayPal sandbox business account connected to rule out any issues related with the currently connected one?
    The plugin log files may contain more information and an error message that could help better judge the problem.
    So I suggest enabling Logging in the plugin settings and then attempting again to pay for an order.
    When the Debug ID for a relevant transaction is logged, then we can guide the PayPal support in a better direction to investigate deeper if we don’t find any issues on a plugin level.

    Same problem here. Payment by card does not work for about 17 hours.

    My can’t show ‘credit card’ button.Only the ‘Paypal’ button.

    When I test in sandbox, the button show well. But not work in normal connect.

    Please tell me how to fix it.

    Thanks for the log. There are no errors suspecting any failures though. Could you please give it a try with a PayPal sandbox account connected and a sandbox testing credit card?
    If you don’t have a sandbox account then you can send us a message from the link in my previous message and we can provide you with credentials for testing.
