Credentials now not working after 3 years of working

Saw this tweet posted in the last hour from a different calendar app (MyNextEvents) that uses the Google Calendar API. It definitely is not an issue with just SimpleCalendar.

@riccardoperello The full version (which is on the demo page) offers the connection of calendars in some other way than displaying via the API. The full version can also display private calendars. So there is another way to link the calendar. But as mentioned above, the API connection does not work.

Same problem on my website.

Same problem for me. I tried embedding an iFrame and it just showed the calendar but without any of its events.

I can link to the public URL, but that is it. I can’t even do an iFrame apparently.

Seems like they made some calendars private.

Same problem here. Wish Google would give some notice and do some testing before changing their APIs.

Not working here yet (London). Maybe a propogation issue still.

Dropped out again. Most likely propagation. Will check again tomorrow.
