While attempting to configure this plugin I kept getting the credentials wrong error. I tried every possible combination of my Sugar instance URL and nothing worked. I tried on 1.0.3 and 1.0.2 with the same error each time. I decided to download and try 1.0.0 and was able to get it working with the same credentials I was trying to use on the 2 newer versions. My instance is installed on a subdomain.

In the 1.0.0 version I am able to get a successful connection and enter the unique id from the config.php however once saved it says wp-sugar settings not configured.

Even the recent test results gave no error for the latest version. Make sure that the credentials are right. And switch off warning temporarily if needed.

If you think the credentials are correct skip test button and save your values. Go and fetch the CRM fields. This should work.

I just changed the admin password and I have entered it into the fields. I then saved and went to lead form fields and it says it is not configured even though when I go back into the settings my info is saved.

@brianouimette, You should update to latest version of plugin. Hope you not also ensure that any warning that breaks the test credentials result.

I removed all plugins and updated to the most recent version of the plugin. I entered my credentials, the url for the sugar crm instance, and hit save changes. I then went to the tab for form fields and it states that the settings are not setup even though they are. I have worked with many plugins and work as a developer.

Very odd and some thing wrong. We are trying to reproduce the issue, but can not. Provide more details, is there any error log to check with. Also give a try with our live demo here – https://demo.smackcoders.com/demowptwo/wp-admin/. You can also check with some other sugar instance.

I to am having the same problem as brianouimette

    Credentials are wrong

I am going through your code to see where something may be throwing this error.

Has anyone figured this out? I am having the same issue. My Sugar is installed on a sub- domain as well. “Credentials are wrong”. And the settings will not save.

    smackcoders?
