I have tried to use a creative, but there seems to be a problem with the code that is generated. This is what I end up with –

    <a data-wpel-link="internal"><img class="lazyload" src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7" data-src="https://www.ukdrivingskills.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/UK-Driving-Skills.jpg" alt="UK Driving Skills"><noscript><img class="lazyload" src="https://www.ukdrivingskills.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/UK-Driving-Skills.jpg" alt="UK Driving Skills" /></noscript></a>

All that appears on the web page is a small blue dot. However if I strip the code down to –

    <a data-wpel-link="internal"><img src="https://www.ukdrivingskills.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/UK-Driving-Skills.jpg" alt="UK Driving Skills"></a>

Then the creative appears as it’s supposed to be. I’ve attached a screenshot showing the creative below and the small blue dot above it which is what shows when the generated code is used. How do I get around this as I cannot actually change the code that the affiliate picks up?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey @pglad,

The only thing that I can recommend at this time is to add either the affiliate account URL or the image names/URLs to the excluded list in the lazy loading plugin.

Most lazy load plugins have an “excluded” option, where you can add the links/images you want to exclude from being lazy loaded.

Considering that the affiliate account page is destined only for affiliates, excluding these files from being lazy loaded will not affect performance too much.

Please try it out and let me know how it goes.

    Thank you and best wishes,

    Mihai

I disabled shortcode classes from lazy load and that did the trick. Many thanks
