    I am experiencing the same issue. Running WP 3.4.2 and version 2.1.3 of BackUpWordPress. Have tried the backup on Safari and Firefox. I am able to backup the database, but unable to backup the files.
    Appreciate your help. Thanks.

    When I run Backup Now – it says it is “Starting Backup” yet I never see a file when it’s complete.
