Creating website "localhost" but can't connect to web

    I want to create a new WordPress website using “localhost’ but nothing works, when I click on Settings (for example) on the Dashboard I get an error saying “Safari Can’t Connect to the Server”. How do I get around this? Thanks.

  • Hi, which localhost server are you using? Have you checked if the server is on?

    I have uploaded WordPress to my IMac and I want to develop a new website, is this possible? Everything I click on in the Dashboard comes up with the message Safari can’t connect to the internet.
