Creating users unexpectedly

    We do monthly imports of user data. The CSV file we import has records for people that are not existing website users as well as records for existing users. In the past, the plugin would not create users if they didn’t already exist. This is exactly the behaviour we wanted. Update existing users; ignore the ones that don’t exist.

    Suddenly, the plugin is creating new users. Has the plugin changed? How do we prevent this happening?

    @hbmacp,

    This is strange. This is a plugin for importing users.

    If you have a user in a CSV, it will be created.

    What we allow is to set to no update users.
