Creating two different events

  • Is there a way to create two different events at the same time with two different RSVP lists? I am inviting a set of people to the wedding ceremony and a different set of people to just the evening reception. I don’t want evening reception guests to see the wedding ceremony option when they rsvp.

  • Same here, I want guests to login and be identified as either “ceremony guests” or “evening guests”. Have you managed to figure it out? or found any articles on how to do this I can’t find any ??

    You could always install WordPress in a subdomain, and have a second installation of the RSVP plugin.

    Well I have managed to amend the plugin to add a new field to the database which stores the event that each guest is invited to.

    I have been able to add a new field to the “Add guest” page so when the new guest is added it stores the data in the database.

    The email has also been changed so that when the user RSVP’s it comes up with ‘Name’ has been invited to ‘Event Name’ and has submitted their RSVP answer with ‘Yes’

    I think this is the easiest way it can be achieved, the only thing I want to be able to do now is when they login it brings up a message saying the event they have been invited to.
