Creating Static Pages

basically you could do it in two ways either create a page (not post ) and make it as front page , Or else make a post sticky (there is a option inside the post to make it sticky ) like that it will act as a static page .

fist method you go to the page option in the dash board and make a page corresponding to the name of your home page then make another page named blog and add the all the blog post to it using the reading setting
