Creating regional sites in wordpress

Hi,

I have a domain name abc.com and I want 3 regional sites. But I don’t want to purchase a domain, I want to use the option of subdirectory or sub domain. Now please suggest me how I can do this? If I use multi site option then it will work? and tell me easy way of using multi site option. Thanks
