Creating Random Rooms

    Hi! Plug-in is very simple, thank you. Is there a way to randomize the name of the room? I would like to embed this is a section that is utilized by multiple pages.

    Perhaps a short-code…? Fingers crossed, thanks!

    Hi @ithomson87,
    On gutenberg block, it’s already generating a random name for each meeting. On shortcode you are allowed to give any name you want. Shortcode is very simple and it’s already documented on plugin setting page. Ex. [jitsi-meet-wp name="Room Name" width="1080" height="720"]

    Okay, we have given an update regarding your issue. Update your plugin and you will find an auto generated room name if you don’t give one on shortcode. So you can add shortcode without the name attribute on it. Ex.[jitsi-meet-wp width="1080" height="720"]
