Creating Product Varation Freezes – Variations unloaded on backend

Hi there,

I’ve been battling with an issue where, if I edit a variable product it will show all the product variations as not assigned (even though they are assigned correctly on the front end).

If I then press save, or add a new variation, the page freezes and I get a never-ending spinning wheel.

If I try to create a new product the same thing happens. All fine until I try to add a variation, then feezes.

Any ideas what’s going on there? Many thanks in advance.

Edit to add:
-Have tried unloading all plugins
-Switching theme (currently flatsome)
-Deactivating and clearing caching and all optimisations

It also appears the woocommerce is using too much CPU resource? Siteground support noticed that every time we tried to create the error the CPU would clip at 100%.
