Creating problem with wp-config.php not loading?

  • In the last few days my site has the same error twice: Cannot establish connection to database. My web host fixed it but said it appeared the wp-config.php file wasn’t loading properly. In looking at my plugins, they said it was possible that somehow WP-DatabaseManager might cause the restoration of the wp-config.php file, which might cause the issue to occur again. Is this possible? I have not made any changes with the WP-DatabaseManager. Also using UpdraftPlus. Maybe a conflict?

    Running WP 5.4.2

    I am not sure whether WP-DatabaseManager exists, this is WP-DBManager and it doesn’t touch wp-config.php.

    My typo, yes WP-DBManager is what I meant. Thanks for your response. I will go back to the web host to see if they can figure out the issue.
