Creating post using elementor

  • when ever i create post in my blog using elementer, instead of the excerpt in the blog page the whole post is shown whereas in default WP only the excerpt is shown.

    kindly suggest me a way, as the post created by the elementor page builder are very beautiful but without excerpt i am unable to use it

    Did you set this correctly in your core WordPress settings?

    – WordPress dashboard
    – Settings
    – Read
    – For eacc article show: fill text or excerp

    I do not think this is Elementor related ??

    In wordpress dashboard > Reading >For each article in a feed, show its show summary.

    But still

    <!–more–> is also not working i have to go in basic wordpress to put more option but my designing is lost

    Hmmmm its hard to tell why this is happening and even more so, if this is Elementor related, theme related…in Generate press for example are seperate settings to determine if a post should be shown full or just the excerpts.

    Please keep in mind that the “more” option will only show if there is enough text and if its set to just show excerpts!
