Creating page templates within a theme

  • Where’s the call to the header images? In header.php or page.php?

    i think it would have to be in the page.php. that’s where i am not sure of what to do to call the different images.

    Adding it to the page template would be easiest but that would mean that you couldn’t insert images reliably into the header area.

    is there a way to do this?

    If you want different headers, you’ll need to amend header.php and use something like is_page() to load in different markup based on the page name, slug or id.
