    Hi

I installed the plugin and entered my API key. With the test function, I choose a picture to test it and it worked great.
When I tried to generate the alt texts in the media library, it does not work at all.

    Single image in Grid view:
    Failed to generate alt text.

Single image in List view (wp-admin/post.php?post=728&action=edit):
    Could not find image

    Multiple selection in List view
    Noting happens

I noticed that in the logs, there is a array printed out, that contains the prompt, language and API key among other details. Especially the API Key seems to be a security flaw, since it is possible on some systems to access the logs as an guest.

Also, I would like to select the model, that should be used, maybe also with further customizations like how long the text should be or if there should be some keywords included.
Also, this log entry is created every time a page loads. This seems unnecessary.

I’m excited to try the plugin as soon as it works ??

    Best, Daniel

@dansart thank you for your feedback.
Please update to version 2.0.8 I just released.

Regarding the how long the text or including keywords, you can use the “Custom Prompt” and tell something like “Keep it at 30 words” or any keyword related instruction. You can test the prompt at the spot.

For now the plugin is limited to gpt-4o-mini only. Planning to include more models as Gemini and Anthropic in the future.

    Thanks!

    Hi @migkapa

Thanks for the fast response. Now it works almost perfectly.
Except when I try to generate the text for more than 4 pictures. I get a 503 – Service Temporarily Unavailable.

You’re right, I missed that prompt customization.

    Best, Daniel
