    Hello! There

I’ve been experimenting around with WordPress Multisite. Gotta say works like a charm. I was wondering if it’s possible to create sites on sub-sub directory. i.e,

Lets say I’ve installed multisite on example.com and I’ve created a new site called “Demo 1 ” on example.com/demo1/
Now, Is it possible to create a new site based on “Demo 1” Url like, example.com/demo1/test1

The site’s I wanna create are gonna be linked together. I know I can install them separately over each sub directory to create network and then have a common user database for all these networks. But what I’m aiming at is a single sign-on over say example.com gives them access to all other sub sites, without having to sign-in into each site separately. Network seems a way to go. Sorry if it sounded dumb. I’m a total newbie here.

    Regards
    Arshad

  • So using a multisite will provide a single user base, so one login for all sites. However it’s just a main site and subsites, meaning:

    example.com
    example.com/subsite1
    example.com/subsite2
    example.com/subsite3
    etc.

This is also possible as sub-domains. That is determined when the multisite is setup. There is no 3rd level of subsites in a default multisite setup.

    Hope that helps!
