Creating new page / images through Portfolio
-
I took over a WordPress website from someone who created it, and it has the Fusion Theme. There is an existing page called “Clay Pieces” that uses Portfolio to display several images. I tried to clone that page since I want the same set up – so I cloned “Clay Pieces” and created a “Collaborations” page. The problem is that all of the images that were displayed on the Clay Pieces page (through a Portfolio setup) are now also included on the cloned Collaborations page. I don’t see how I can remove those images from the Collaborations page. When I go to the Portfolio pages of the images that are displaying, the Portfolio Category is set to the Clay Pieces page (not the new Collaborations page) so they shouldn’t be displaying on the new Collaborations page. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Since I couldn’t figure that out, I alternately tried creating a new page (not cloning one) and of course it also used the Fusion page builder. Just like the page I want to design this new page after, I set the Template to “Portfolio Grid” and everything else about the set up of the new page is the same as the one I want to design it after. After I created the page, I tried adding one of the images to the page using Portfolio. However, when I publish the page, instead of just showing the image I added through Portfolio, it shows every single picture in my library and not only that but also displays a second menu on the page (in addition to the menu that is already at the top of the page).
Does anyone have suggestions on fixing either of these issues? Thanks!
