Creating new custom color in ‘Text Color’

If you’re using Genesis Framework, then have a look at this page:

Even if you’re not using Genesis, there are some useful links at the bottom of that page

So, the PHP for Genesis code sort of worked. It added the color pallet and changed the color in the back end editor. But it did NOT change it when published. It kept the default color. I double checked and made sure I updated the page before previewing, but no luck.
