Creating multiple pages for menus

  • Hi, using Woocommerce I am trying to create a menu system, and want to create three menu pages as a dropdown under the Shop page. The pages would display ‘starters’, ‘main course’ ‘dessert’ so that people can select from each menu. Their selections would be input into the cart.
    Is there some documentation on how to do this, because Woocommerce, as standard, displays just one shopping page.
    I thought of trying to create pages using the product categories but the wordpress admin section only allows the option to use the post/page categories.
    I have name the permalink shop to display as menu on the primary navigation.

  • Does your shop page show products or categories?

    If you go to Admin page > WooCommerce > Settings > Products tab, and set “shop page display” = “Show categories and subcategories”, then you can either:
    – use the shop page as your category menu system
    – or click the categories and capture the urls for your menu, then reset the shop page display to show products.
