• Hi Elex,

I noticed that the Auspost Express and Standard give you quotes for orders over 22kg in weight, but Auspost don’t ship parcels that heavy. So is there a way to limit the weight a particular shipment option can take, because the Auspost API is not doing it.

    Hello @mercurydan ,

Thanks for reaching out to us. The plugin works by getting live shipping rates from Australia Post API. Yes, as you have mentioned there is a limitation in Australia Post API that only allows a maximum weight of 22 kg per package. ?Please confirm if the individual product’s weight is greater than 22 kg or the total weight of the cart.

Since you are currently using the basic version of our plugin, it only supports the “Pack Items Individually” packaging option. This means that each item in the cart is packed separately and the total shipping cost is calculated by adding the shipping cost for each item. If the individual product weight is less than 22 kg, the plugin will show the rates accordingly. It calculates the rates based on each product’s weight, instead of the total weight of the cart or package.

Hope that explains. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any additional inquiries.

    Hi ,

Im shipping a 25kg product, its not a combination of products. But the customer can still select Auspost rather than only being able to choose Star Track.
