Edit it for what? It’s automatically generated on demand, it’s not a file somewhere you can screw around with.

For an iTunes feed, my advice is to use feedburner to replicate your feed. Feedburner can add iTunes tags to your feed after the fact, and it can handle the load generated by podcast listeners checking your feed very often. Whereas most normal sites cannot handle that sort of load well.

I submitted my blog rss to itunes instead of my feedburner feed (darn!). I see on itunes tech specs that I should insert some itunes tags into my feed. I tried to insert these tags into the files called wp-rss2.php, but I get all kinds of validation errors. Is there an easier way to do this using feedburner? You suggest that there is in the above response, but I don’t see where in feedburner I can do this. Help!

If you use FeedBurner, then go to the Optimize tab and use the SmartCast option.

You can, of course, roll your own, but feedburner is probably the easiest way to do this sort of thing. You could also try the PodPress plugin.
