Creating information for feed

    I am trying using your Broadbean plugin. Broadbean say they want they following information to develop a feed:-

    1.Posting URL – the URL ending in – ?wpbb=broadbean
    2.Username and Password – when you install the plugin you will be prompted to enter credentials, this is what we need.
    3.Expected XML – Note – if you are looking to use the ‘standard XML’ within the plugin settings, we would still need your developers to provide us with that example XML.     4.Field behavior i.e. mandatory fields, single or multi-select options, HTML support, character limits etc
    5.Any custom values for sectors / industries / location etc – Please liaise with client before submitting this information to Broadbean. If no custom mappings are provided, then Broadbean will send default values.

    I intend to use the standard XML. I understand points 1, 2 and 5 but not sure about what to put for 3 and 4. For instance character limits, are there any character limits on any of the fields?

    Hi Peter,

    Thanks for using the plugin. Those standard XML files are good for users that have not made any modifications such as adding additional fields or taxonomies.

    No fields have character limits either. In terms of the multi select options etc. for the taxonomies the plugin works where it expects a commas separated list to be sent. This is then split into different terms when the job is added. Terms that don’t exist are added to WordPress before being assigned to the job.

    Broadbean will want to know whether there is a specific list of terms (e.g. locations or industries) that you want to choose from when writing a job in their system.
