• Hi,

I’m having trouble with pages in the Coraline theme.

    https://www.169niners.com

Basically I tried to create the pages in the usual way and the names of the pages appeared in the menu along the top of the page. Looked how I wanted it to look but…

When I clicked on each tab on the menu, it took me to the same front page.

I have now tried the following to fix but none worked:

    1) Making a static front page (called Welcome) – this works as in there is a Welcome on the front page but still when I click the other page tabs, I am stuck on the front page
    2) Creating a ‘nav menu’. However this just created a list of links on each page. I don’t know how to make the nav menu run horizontally across the page as tabs like in the coraline theme (if even this is what I need to do?)
    2) Assigning Templates to each page – this was straight forward enough but has made no difference.

Thanks in advance for any help.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply (and apologies for the delay in replying). I’m afraid neither of these work. I don’t have any plug-ins activated anyway and have tried changing the theme also.

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks!
