Creating "grids" for latest posts

Im looking to create a grid, where i can upload or where it automatically uploads my most recent posts on the site..

I would also like to put a picture about the snippet of article.

Give or take ill have about 5 articles on the main page that will be set up like this:

Column 1 2 3
(picture )
(title )
(first paragraph in the article)
