• Hi,

I’m trying to use this plugin to create a series of site edit pages with a menu to tie them all together in order to give editors somewhere to go to, other than the WP admin to edit the site. Sort of like a headless WP site.

I have 3 CPTs. I want to create front end edit forms on 3 Elementor pages just for each of these three CPT’s posts. On each of these pages I’d like to have a drop down button at the top of the page so that the editor can select which of one specific CPT’s posts to edit so that there form will edit the selected post in the dropdown. How can I do that please?

The only options I can see are:
    Current post
    Url Query
    Select post

I can’t see how to do what I want from those three options so is there a way to do it?

    Many thanks,
    Barry.

This is a feature that we have been meaning to add for a while and I think this week we will finally do it. Something similar can be seen by turning on the “save progress” settings.

    I’m facing the same issue.

Hi Shabti, Did this feature get added? I’m a new user so I may not see things so clearly. Just to recap, I created a page in Elementor with the intention it be used to edit existing posts, added a front end form set to action: edit posts. Added an ACF field group and saved. I open the page and I expect to see a drop down with an option to select a custom post to edit from a specific custom post type, set when creating the form within elementor. But I don’t see any option to choose any post to edit so I’m struck? This is definitely my lack of knowledge as I’m sure I’ve misunderstood what to do. How do I use this page to select a post to edit please? I need to see the form then I’m expecting just above it to see a list of posts that I can choose from to select one to edit. Many thanks, Barry.
